The Committee has taken the difficult decision to “wrap up” the Choir.
As of Spring 2017 the Choir is no longer active.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved, directly or indirectly, and hope you enjoyed your association with us.

Billingham Oratorio Choir is now known as Tees Harmonic.
The group felt this change was needed as we are no longer based in Billingham, and it was a good opportunity to have a name which included the area covered by our members rather than our previous rehearsal location! It was also felt that as we do not always perform the larger works implied by the use of the word “oratorio” that a new, more general, name would allow us the freedom to explore other repertoire.
We look forward to seeing you all at our Christmas performance on 10th December (see our Concerts page for more info).
Rehearsals have started again for the new term, and we are working on repertoire for our Christmas Concert! Fa la la la la! 🙂
BOC are now on their summer break!
Rehearsals start again on September 10th, when we will be starting the new pieces for our November concert.
If you are interested in joining the choir, please explore these pages for more information, or contact us.
I hope those of you who came to hear us perform Mozart’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria on June 7th enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed singing them! It’s not often you get to experience two great works like that in one evening!
Fun fact: Vivaldi’s Gloria is one of choirmaster Gareth Malone‘s favourite pieces of music.
